For the largest part the book covers the day to day activities on and around the farm and the problems related to them. Also included in the book is the story of the author's record walk over Wales' fourteen peaks with a height of more than 3000 feet. |
|
In his style of writing the author has succeeded in keeping sufficient distance from his experiences to prevent the story from becoming melodramatic. Yet the distance is still kept small enough for the reader to be able to identify himself with the author in his day to day life. On the whole the style of narration is quite factual. I have read this book with great pleasure. |
