The Hathorian Maze

Logo

It is now almost three centuries ago that the great dragon Phauntra raided the city of Andor and stole king Mantol's crown from his very own head, accidentally taking the head with him as well. Ever since then the kings of the house of Andor have refused to wear a crown, in the remembrance of this never revenged and terrible deed.

Screen shotOh yes! Over the years many brave men have tried to enter the dragon's lair in the Hathorian maze and retrieve Mantol's crown, but until today none has returned. Be it the complexity of the maze's paths, or be it the never sleeping Phauntra himself, the task has been too immense for all that have tried.

But now there seems to be new hope. From the east rumors have reached the city of Andor about the defeat of Phauntra. It is said that the dragon was finally killed when he tried to raid the emperor's palace, after having spread disaster over the world for so long. If this is true indeed then the maze is left unguarded and it may now be possible to bring back the crown to its rightful owners.

It is up to you to decide if you are brave enough to accept the challenge!

If you think you are up to the job then pick a maze from the table below. For each parameter the no option gives the easiest to solve maze and the yes option makes the solution more difficult. You will find out the effect of the various parameters while you are walking around.

Maze sizes are specified as S (small), M (medium), L (large) and XL (extra large). But before entering any of the mazes wait for the bar to be filled with smileys. This indicates that all necessary images have been loaded and that the game will run smoothly.
